Senva wins the AHR Innovation Award in the Indoor Air Quality category
Senva, a CAREL Group company based in Beaverton, Oregon, has been awarded the 2025 AHR Innovation Award in the Indoor Air Quality category for its TotalSense Indoor Air Quality Sensor.
The award is presented annually across ten categories to recognise the most innovative products and technologies in the HVAC/R sector. The selection is made by an independent panel of ASHRAE members, based on criteria such as innovative design, creativity, practical application, and market impact.
The TotalSense Indoor Air Quality Sensor will be featured at AHR Expo (Orlando, USA) from February 10 to 12 at stand 581, West Building. The product was recognised for its market-leading configurability, capable of integrating up to ten different sensors. Its options include detection of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, relative humidity, temperature, presence (PIR), volatile organic compounds, ozone, particulate matter, barometric pressure, and ambient light. This flexibility allows TotalSense to meet a wide range of indoor air quality monitoring and control needs.
Founded in 2007 and acquired by CAREL in 2022, Senva specialises in designing sensors for HVAC and ventilation applications. The synergy with CAREL further enhances the Group’s ability to deliver advanced solutions for healthy indoor air, supporting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
