A new role for CAREL in Eurovent's IT Cooling Task Force

Eurovent's IT Cooling Task Force (TF-ITC) has a new chairman: Enrico Boscaro, Group Solution Marketing Manager – Industrial HVAC at CAREL, who brings over 25 years of experience in the HVACR sector and has been an active member of Eurovent for years. Enrico Boscaro will oversee the Task Force's strategic initiatives, focusing on developments and future opportunities in the data centre cooling sector across Europe, with an emphasis on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Eurovent's IT Cooling Task Force, the leading European association in the HVACR industry, was launched in December 2024 and provides the organisation's members with information on ongoing developments in the data centre cooling sector.

The new chairman of the TF-ITC, Enrico Boscaro, stated: “The data centre sector uses a lot of energy and is crucial in providing technologies, from video conferencing to AI, that should be at the forefront of global energy savings. Data centre cooling market players have always sought to achieve energy efficiency, and new technologies and EU regulations are creating new challenges. I am confident that this new group, composed of exceptionally qualified industry representatives, is willing to lead the development of data centres with a focus on continuous improvement, ensuring maximum sustainability both environmentally and economically. I am honoured to be the chairman of this Task Force and will do my best to gather contributions from those working on the project, to converge the members' knowledge and support policymakers in this journey, which will make our planet a better place.”
